Mason Pot was founded in 2023 with two key approaches in mind… To make both Cannabis and non-Cannabis infusions simple and to make the home infusion process affordable for the masses.
But… one may be thinking… Why Mason Pot?
In order to answer that question, we need to dive into the infusion marketplace overall.
Currently, there are some big companies offering infusion products and they do a great job - we can’t take that away from them. They pioneered the space and we owe them the utmost respect for doing so…. but their products are generally large and not exactly super affordable for an every day person. Some of them take up a good amount of kitchen counter space and range into the multiple of hundreds of dollars.
This is where the founder and creator of Mason Pot, Jack Woltering, saw room for improvement.
With 10+ years of consistent Cannabis infusing (using many of the infusion products from these larger companies alluded to above) he realized he could create his own infusion product that simplifies and enhances the process, cuts down on the sheer size of the infuser and bring it to the market place at a fraction of the price.
So what did he do?
He got to work. He enlisted the help of his brother, who is wickedly talented with all things engineering and carpentry, and spent the next 6 months in their mom’s garage to build out their first prototype of the Mason Pot.
Was the first prototype perfect? Nope.
Was the second prototype perfect? Nope.
Did they work? Yes. Very well at that, but Jack wanted it to be perfect and easy to use.
Fast forward to today’s Mason Pot and what do we have? A simple, easy to use infuser that creates incredible and highly potent infusions!
So now that the product was dialed in, it came down to building the perfect team around Jack’s creation, but not so big that the company had high employee payroll expenses and therefore, being able to keep the price of the Mason Pot affordable for the masses.
Today, we are indeed a very small team with a massive goal to become the Go-To choice for Cannabis and non-Cannabis home infusions, but in order to grow and scale, we need marketing and help with sales.
